What is ChallanSakshi?
ChallanSakshi is a free, independent civic tool for people in India. It helps you understand an e-Challan, check a FASTag transaction, organise the evidence you have and prepare a clear request before continuing through an official service.
Is ChallanSakshi a government website?
No. ChallanSakshi is an independent project created by Shourya Banda (sh1rs). It is not affiliated with a government authority, police service, court, bank or FASTag issuer. Official records and decisions remain with the relevant authority.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
The public tools are free to use. Start as a guest with no sign-up. Saving work on your own device is optional. Account saving, when available, is a separate choice and is not needed for a review.
Can it look up my challan from a number plate?
No. ChallanSakshi does not have live access to government challan records. Open the official service to find your record, then use a copy or enter the details you can see. Never share an OTP, password or payment credential here.
What happens to a document I select?
The document reader works in your browser: it reads supported PDFs and images on your device. Selecting a file does not upload it through the reader. Check every reading because text extraction can be wrong or incomplete. Saving a case or exporting a copy is a separate action; read the privacy page for storage and deletion details.
Will it cancel a challan or get me a refund?
No result is guaranteed. ChallanSakshi helps you organise what the records show and draft a request you review yourself. It does not decide whether a challan is valid, provide legal advice, submit a dispute, make a payment or confirm an official outcome.
Can I use it on my phone or in Hindi?
Yes. The core public tools work in a modern mobile browser and include English and Hindi controls. No browser extension is required. Voice assistance depends on your browser, device and available language support; the visible buttons and manual steps remain available.
How do I report a broken link or website issue?

Share a short description without documents, number plates, IDs, OTPs or other personal case details. This is a project feedback channel, not an official grievance or emergency helpline.
